Empty Spaces The snakes are out and ready to go! ![]()
| Packed Up One of the excellent things about a rack system that uses sweaterboxes, is that all you need to do is remove the box and pop on a lid - then you're ready to "go mobile." Not all my snakes live in a sweaterbox rack system, but for those who do, it made the move much easier. ![]()
Parental Guidance
| My dad came over in his Buick Rendezvous, but all the snakes wouldn't fit. I loaded the remaining serpents into my car. ![]()
Home Sweet Home
| Fortunately the weather was sunny and in the high 40s. All my snakes were brumating and the road trip was only about 20 minutes. All the snakes made it safe and sound. ![]()
Rack System

Big Boxes
| I had some four-foot cages from my boa breeding days that I've added dividers to. The rack system on the right is custom-made and uses salad bar trays with a floor space of 10 x 20 (the same as a 10-gallon tank). I like the clear boxes better that the translucent sweaterboxes - unfortunately they are rather expensive. ![]()
Behind The Bar
| My male northern pine lives in this 55 gallon enclosure, it had to be brought over separately in a minivan. ![]()
Back In Black
| My black pines live in a custom cage as well. Now that all the snakes are relocated, all I gotta do is move my 19 turtles, 6 salamanders and ferret! |
