Easter Herping
We went to Roaring Camp Railroads in the Santa Cruz Mountains for Easter. While the kids looked for eggs, I looked for reptiles. This is the train we rode on to get into the mountains.

Several Red-eared Sliders (and a "bonus" Western Pond Turtle) were sunning themselves in one of the ponds.

Northern Alligator Lizards give birth to live offspring.

Sarah Buttitta and I take a few moments to admire the lizard before releasing it back where it was found.

This tiny Santa Cruz Garter Snake was found near a waterway.
